ABOUT THE ARTIST

ARTIST STATEMENT

Paintings are loopholes of escape to the soul, where the fancy for a moment may reveal, refreshed and delighted. My paintings unveil the windows to the imprisoned thought. My work aims to translate beauty into a visual art form. I enjoy creating abstract , semi abstract and expressionistic paintings in oil, mixed media and digital art which capture the essential visual of places or abstract art. I hope my paintings will bring peace to the mind and relaxation to the body. They nurture my soul and those of the people who appreciate my art works.
 I connect with the viewer through my work by expressing my personal perception of life around me. My paintings convey my own perception of beauty in nature. They often recall special moments and places. I use metaphor to express my personal statement toward the meaning of life. 
 My mission as an artist is to create works of fine art which flow and enhance the interior design concepts.
