ARTIST STATEMENT

A real passionate person, Thuy is fortunate to be able to meet the two artistic words that are close to her heart: dance and paint. The places she is looking for have to meet the criteria that her artistic process requires. Her aim is to capture the mood, the atmosphere, space, light, textures, movement, energy, spiritual from the music and dance movements and translate into the canvas. They are filled with and she has to be a crossroads of her two artistic worlds.
"As a dancer myself, emotion takes over when i discover an abandoned dancer. This is the aim of my art: my two passions are then united in one and the same feeling" The music and the feeling of the dance in my head guide me to create brush strokes in order to transform the choreography onto the canvas.

THUY LE BIOGRAPHY. 

Thuy Le is an contemporary artist who working as a Fine Art Painter, Sculptor , visual designer & Interior Designer.

Thuy Le had a strong passion in dance ballet since she were eight years old. From ballet she learned how to express her feeling through the dance movements and how to listen the music with the body language expression. When she moved to live in the Silicon Valley, California, she worked as an visual designer and web designer which she created art works on the computer and created websites with Interactive pictures by using Adobe Creative Suite. In 2010, she volunteered to work as an Art Docent Of Los Gatos, interacting with the elementary students in the Los Gatos district in the classroom helped her to find her true passion in fine art painting. She decided to work full time as the fine art painter . Her favorite medium is oil and mixed medial in oil paintings. She also like to sculpt; portrait and human figurative are her favorite subjects. In her spare time, she plays with photography, digital graphic art, videos editing. She is currently pursuing the degree in interior design, the knowledge would help her to have more sense how to create stunning art works to display in the interior spaces. Thuy Le is a self-taught artist who open her vision and her experience in many art forms, mediums and perspectives in art. She has a mindset as an entrepreneur who loves to create new prototypes for the art. Everyday is her new day with new creativity.

She enjoy life as a journey through the art and design. The very same journey takes her to more avenues for new ideas. It also opens new horizons to create unique artworks without any limitation in creativity. Creative thinking, creative solution are her goal to pursuing in life whereas she uses art and design as a key to express how many possibilities that we can solve problems.

Her physical activities are dance Contemporary, Lyrical dance, Jazz, Flamenco, Zumba, Yoga, Worzd dance, meditation, do gardening, cook, and travel.
